Management Consultant at MICON, Constance is a Chartered Economist (ChE) Risk Manager (RM) and Accredited Financial Analyst (AFA) by profession. She is a graduate of three (3) Business Schools viz University of Ghana, Aberdeen in Scotland and Assam Down Town University in India, where she graduated with Diploma in Accounting, Degree in Management and Risk Management and Insurance at the Master of Business Administration (MBA) level. Mrs. Baah joined Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning in January 2005 as an Assistant Budget Officer in the Budget Division (i.e. Good Governance) of the Ministry. Her principal activities are focused on the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection include drafting of budget estimates for MOD, drafting of cash plan, work plan for MOD, writing of release letters, reviewing on budget statement, reviewing government’s Financial Statistics commitment, Gender mainstreaming budget, social protection policy documents, LEAP household and average grant expansion, etc. She has an in-depth knowledge and professional experience in Public Expenditure Monitoring where she focus on Monitoring of Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDA’S), Collection of data on Government Financial Statistics from the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) and reporting weekly on them, Collating of MDA’s commitment control and printing of budget draft, appropriation bills and budget estimates to cabinets since January 2005 to January 2015.
In her consulting life, She was a member of the four Management Consultant selected to assess Metropolitan, Municipal and district Assemblies in the Ashanti Region for qualification to assess the World Bank and other Donor funds grant for 2014.
